Creative Director

As a Post-Production Supervisor/Art Director at Duarte, I had the privilege of working with many talented teams who were dedicated to producing Event content of the highest tier. My role ebbed and flowed from designing initial style frames, to 3D pre-vis to overseeing entire post-production workflows. I managed teams or personally contributed by editing, sound mixing, color grading, adding motion design and ensuring final delivery of the finished product.

One of the most challenging aspects of my role was managing the many moving parts of a project. It was essential to have strong visual and verbal communication skills to ensure that everyone, across partner agencies, production companies and the client, involved in the project was on the same page. I found that being proactive in my communication was key to keeping everyone informed and moving the project forward. I also learned the importance of being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

As an Art Director, my focus was on creating visually stunning content that both inspired and captured the essence of our clients’ brands. This required a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of each client’s design principles. I worked closely with our internal teams and external partners to ensure that every frame of our videos was beautifully crafted and visually compelling.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job was seeing a project come to life. From the initial concept boards to final asset deliveries, it was amazing to watch as the vision we had for a project was transformed into a finished product that exceeded our clients’ expectations. It was gratifying to know that our work had a real impact on our clients’ businesses and helped them achieve their goals.

Overall, my experience as a Post-Production Supervisor/Art Director at Duarte was incredibly rewarding. I was fortunate to work across many talented and dedicated teams, and I learned a great deal about the importance of communication, flexibility, and attention to detail.
